In the month drop down list of Time and Date properties all I sees is 6's
instead of the month names. What could be the problem

Your PC may have been taken over by Satan! More seriously:
If your question is genuine then I suspect that your PC is
infected with some virus that plays on people's superstition
about the number 666.

If you think that I am joking then I wouldnt be trying to waste others time
over here.FYI, it is only one 6 that is dispalyed for each month name and not
666.
I was wondering if some file would have been corrupted. Hope someone gives a
better solution.

I suggest you attach a screen shot as a .jpg file so that respondents
can see for themselves what you're seeing.

Your PC may have suffered some corruption somewhere.
I suggest you try a different time zone with the same GMT
offset of 3 hours.

Thanks.
I tried different time zones as you mentioned.
But nothing has come of it.
Its the drop down list where the problem is.
Everywhere else it shows the correct month name and day.
that is what is surprising for me.

Maybe running sfc.exe (System File Checker) from the
Command Prompt will solve your problem.

Thanks for your reply. I even tried that. Still it remains the same.
