Does anyone found this problem in Windows XP Embedded SP1?

After a powerdown or reboot some times windows XPe (not depending from
PC or Bios, and other OS like DOS or linux haven't this problem)
changes itself date and time at the first day of current month and 1
hour less than current.

Any idea?

Thanks

Max,

Your problem sounds strange.

But if your image have EWF enabled
And if every time when you boot your device you loose/gain one hour then
this problem is related to daylight saving problem.
If this is the case there are few workarounds.

I have seen the same problem with W2K and XPE SP1. Any
cloning process can introduce the problem because
the "Golden Image" is set to be either Standard or
Daylight time (W32Time Active Bias).

Assume that your master image is on Daylight time. When
you clone and boot an image during the winter months,
Windows will adjust the time to Standard time, making it
one hour earlier. Obviously the opposite scenario has
equally undesirable behavior -- Standard time in the
master with cloning in the Summer.

To get the time correct ASAP after cloning, I run
w32tm.exe using a Soon.exe command in the Logon script.
Without the W32Time service or a NIC, you could still
(painfully) analyze and reset the Active Bias registry
entry in an FBA task.

Good Luck, Roy

Thank you for all your replies, but your suggets are not the solution
for my problem. As explained, the problem is not only the change of
one hour (and its solution is daylight saving), but rather the change
of the day at the first day of current month!

Now I try directly to Microsoft!

Thanks a lot
