Date formatting

When entering a date in Excel 2002:
I type 2/1/8 and XL displays: 2/1/2008: Perfect!
I type 2/1/32 & XL displays: 2/1/1932 ???
Any way to train XL to display: 2/1/2032?
Help on this greatly appreciated!

You can change your regional settings, but this will affect other
programs too --

On the Windows taskbar, click the Start button
Choose Control Panel
Double-click Regional and Language Options
On the Regional Options tab, click Customize
