Using Windows XP and Office 2007

There is a date format that gives me the complete spelling of the day, the
complete spelling of the month, the date, and the year.

Can I create a date format that gives me the three letter abbreviation of
the day, the three letter abbreviation of the month, the date, and the year?

I believe you had one too many m's in that custom format. It should
be:

ddd, mmm dd, yyyy for a two digit day-of-month (e.g. 01 or 02 or 10)
or ddd, mmm d, yyyy for a single or double day-of-month.

Yep, I saw that,too. I put in the "m" only 3 times and this custom format
worked.
