Date filled down?

I would like to put a date in a cell.
Then fill it down. How to do that?

Hi Ming

type the date as dd/mm/yy or mm/dd/yy or whatever is default for your
region,
then choose format / cells
click on custom, type in the box on the right had side
dddd, mmmm dd, yyyy
click ok
now click on fill handle (bottom right of cell) and fill down as far as you
want - adjust column width if needed.

Here's one way:

Enter the starting date in a cell. Say that cell is A1. In
A2 enter this:

=A1+1

Then drag copy down as needed.

The answer I learned is using mouse to drag that handle.

Is that possible using keyboard to do that?

Hi ming

there's an edit / fill down command ... select the first number and the
range you want to fill & choose edit / fill down - this can all be done via
keyboard
