date field - filtering

This is what I have in a date field:
Between [Beginning Date:00/00/0000] And [Ending Date:00/00/0000]

Is there a way I can enter the date simpler, maybe by using the calender
add-in, or an other way?

When I enter the dates I get a range of numbers, that where entered between
these dates which is what I want. But the dialog box is not very friendly.

You can use a form to enter the dates, like Method 2 in this example:

You can also use a pop-up calendar to write the dates onto the form. Here's
one that is just a little Access form that can be re-used anywhere in your
