Hi
I have a worksheet showing the last day I visited someone
I am using a simple formula of (say) b7=b6+14 where b6 was the last visited
day and I want to go back in 14 days time
What is happening is the first calculation is correct but if I drag the
formula down through the sheet it is giving the same result as cell b7 even
though it is changing the variables
Any solutions/suggestions
Many thanks

Do you have calculation set to manual or automatic? (Tools > Options >
Calculation tab.)

Thanks Paul - all is self-calculating now!
Tell me why would you use the manual checkbox??

I virtually never do. One reason might be if you had a large workbook that
took a significant time to recalculate. You could set recalculation to
manual whilst entering lots of data (so that it didn't try to recalculate
after every single cell entry) and then calculate once when you had
finished.
