I have a database interface setup using the wizard and it works okay except
for one issue..

I have 2 tables one with manufacturers names and the other with products. I
use the lookup wizard in Access so that I can select a manufacturer from
drop down but when I present it online all I get is the Manuf ID number
which means nothing to the user..

Is there a way I can get the manufacturer name to show instead of the ID. I
am using the product table in the FP2003 wizard.

Thanks
John Parker

Yes. On page 4 of the wizard:

o Make sure that Display Values From This Field
specifies the manufacturer name field.
o Make sure that Submit Values From This Field
specified the manufacturer ID field.

Thanks Jim, but I have gone through all steps and must be missing something
as I cannot find anything that allows me to set the options you show below.

I am not sure what you mean by Page 4... which wizard are you referring to?

I appreciate your feedback as it obviously sounds possible to do what I am
trying..

I presumed you were using the Databse Results Wizard to create the
dropd-wn list of manufacturers. Page 4 refers to that wizard.

If that's *not* the way you're creating the drop-down list, how *are*
you creating it?
