Hi

I have a question about quering an external database in excel. Everytime
when I refresh the data, I need to enter the user name, password & database
name, is there a way to store the password info in the file so that i dont

If you have set up your source database as an ODBC you can enter
username and password during the ODBC setup process. There is a
checkmark box to save these values so you don't have to enter them
every time you access the ODBC source.

This also holds true for MSQuery. When you setup a new database
source to use in Excel there is a checkbox to "Save my user ID and
password in the data source definition" that you can use.
