I have noticed that as soon as I run a query or a report in Access 2007 the
name of the database I am working in disappears from the top of the screen
and it just reads "Microsoft Access". I am in several databases and would
like to know how to get the name to re-appear so I will know which one I am
working in. Thanks in advance.

Tools >> Startup >> Application Title.

Have you tried hovering over the buttons at the bottom of the screen?
(the "close/restore/maximize" buttons) if you hover over them, and stop
moving, sometimes descriptive text appears. All would have said text but
the one with the active query.

Sorry to ask but where under Tools? I see Tools for dorm design, macros, etc
but not one that lists Startup. Where should I be looking? Thanks so much!

Never mind - I found it - it is located under Access Options, current
database. Thanks!

Its me again - I was able to change the application title but it only keeps
it while I am in that database. If I close and go back in I have to rename
it again. Any way around this default?

Ah, I see you found it. My apologies. I was thinking in terms of
older versions of Access.

Yes, that will show me which database I am in, but I was just wondering why
it changes. I have only noticed this in Access 2007. I know it is a small
thing but would love to be able to change the default if possible.

Now that's interesting. Sorry but I have no idea why. That value
should be saved with the MDB.
