Database Editor Search

Would like to select records from DB to edit rather than
scrolling or waiting for all records to load. However,
when I add criteria using database wizzard, Search Form
does not develop. Criteria is in effect, but Submit
Button and Text Box for entry do not appear. Is there a
way to add this search capability in the Editor?
