Database Corruption

Hello,

I have a database that seem to become corrupt about every
two to three weeks. The database size is 43 megs. It is
used by several people during the course of the day with
the possibility of having more then one user in the db at
any given time.

My question is this normal behavior for Access dbs to
become corrupt so frequently? If so, it there anything
specific that I can do to get the database from becoming
corrupt besides doing a weekly compaction of the db?

Take a look at this site. There is some information relating to Corruption
Issues that might apply to you. If you still continue to have problems,
repost and be more specific on your new findings.

Have you split the database to Front-End and Back-End?

For a multi-user Access database application, this is a MUST.

Do all users have the latest Service Releases / Patches applied to their
Access software installation?

Please post your Access version also in the future.
