database corrupt

I wonder if someone can help me. I recently installed disspy and doctor alex
on the computer, it found cookies etc and removed them, now each time i log
into windows a message appears saying, "sorry database is corrupted, please
reinstall application to fix problem, click ok to exit" Could this have
something to do with the software that i installed or is there something
wrong with windows? PLease help, thank you

It sounds like this is a message from one of these applications.

Does the message dialog have anything in the title bar?
Does either program have a startup group entry (or equivalent found
using msconfig) that can be disabled?
 
The dialog box is not telling what program it is referring to.
I checked msconfig and took the tick out of disspy as i thought it might be
that one and the message still came up.
 
Just to add, i went into the msconfig and noticed that another spyware
removal program i recently uninstalled is still showing, it is spyware &
adware removal 2, it has been unchecked but i do not know why it was not
removed. I am still having the message showing even after uninstalling
Disspy. Any suggestions would be grateful
