Database Converted to Read Only

I recently reformatted my hard drive and backed up all my
data to CD - including an extensive Microsoft Access
database I'd been working on for weeks. When I tried to
reinstall this database, I discovered that it had been
saved as a "Read-Only" file, and now I can't modify it
any further. Is there some way I can retrieve this info
and continue updating it?

In Windows Explorer, find the file, right-click and uncheck "read-only"

Right click on the file and turn the Read-Only flag off. That happens with
ANY file copied to a CD BTW.
