Dear All,

I am using Excel 2000. On data validation I can specify a
list of valid entries. However, users can delete the cell
content by pressing delete. Is there a way to prevent
users from deleting the current content as well as
requiring valid entry? Thanks for your help.

Uncheck the "Ignore blank" checkbox in the Validation dialog.
