Data Validation

I have a file that I am trying to change the defaulted Validation List in a
cell. When I choose from the menu, Data, Validation, the first tab has a
field of "source". There is a =ProbRating typed in this field. I assume
this is a list that was created, but I cannot find it anywhere in the
spreadsheet. How do I find and change the source of the "source"?

click insert>name>define and look where it is

Have you done Insert | Name | Define to see if it is listed there? If
it is, you can see what range it refers to in the bottom of the panel.
