Data Validation - Lists
is there a limitation on how many rows of data can have in a list?
I reference worksheet that contains the data for the reference list.
has 54 rows of names.
but on the worksheets that use the pick list it only scrolls down to row 52,
the last two names don't show up.

Help....

I have just made a data validation list referencing an 85-cell range
Click the cell with the data validation (make it the active cell)
On the Data tab of the Ribbon, in the Data Tools group, clcik the Data
Validation tool
On the Setting tab of the Data Validation dialog, what do you have for the
Source?
I have =$J$1:$J$85
best wishes

figured it out my Define Name of Range, is only going to 52, but won't let me
reset the range, won't save the changes.
If I delete the Define Name range - and create it again, will that delete
all the references in the workbooks that have already been using it, and
remove it's content?

Resolved, made copy of workbook, tested by delete name reference and
recreated it, didn't effect other data. Recreated the name range and now
show all rows in the drop down list.
