Data Source problem

I created passthorugh query and Data Source for it for one report. It is
working great for first report, but when I created second report, passthrough
query and Data Source, Select Data Source window keeps on poping-up every
second
unless I change record sorce to something else then that passthrough query.
Also, it prompts user to select record source 4 times when report is called.
I searched everywhere, but no answer. I even tried to recreate SQL database
and whole Access part on different machine, but no luck. Please help!

In the new query, did you specify the ODBC Connection?
Open the query in design view, open the query roperties (in the menu bar
select view > properties), locate the cursor in the property, set the ODBC
connection by pressing the button with the three dots.
