i recently deleted my girlfriends user account. when i did so all of the
pics, and docs were deleted. is there any way of getting them back.
please help
 
Use Undelete PLUS and after that if you can't recover the files or most of
them, only then use the System Restore feature to rollback the system to a
previous date... I don't know for sure if the deleted user account will be
restored but since user accounts become part of the system, there's a good
chance it may be restored. Try the program first because restoring the
system will probably make the use of the application worthless if used after
the rollback and may even affect the results if you undo the rollback.

Probably the best thing to do will be to restore the files from your
most recent backup. (You'll just lose whatever files were new since the
backup date.)

System Restore will not work - it only saves registry and configuration
changes and does not save personal document which is what the TS is after.

To TS: STOP using the hard disk, plug it in as a slave disk to another
computer and use any of these free recovery utilities (including Undelete
Plus)
