I have recently started to experience problems with 2 files on my system
that are preventing an application from running under Windows XP
Professional.
I have 'good' copies of both the files, but am unable to replace the
originals - the system will not let me overwrite, delete or rename the
existing files. Any attempt returns and error 'Data Error (cyclic
redundancy check)' even if I attempt the delete operations in safe mode.
Can anyone tell me how to get rid of these files and replace them with
the good copies?
Thanks
