Scenario:
I need to drag and drop files from hard drives with bad sectors onto my drive.
The drives I have to back up are mostly formatted with NTFS and have a
corrupt OS on them. In addition they usually have quite a few bad sectors.
I need to be able to copy all the files off of these drives into specific
directories on my workstation, while maintaining the original file structure
and folder hierarchy. I use Windows XP Pro.

Procedure:
I usually log into safe mode, change NTFS permissions to allow full control
to EVERYONE and I change ownership to my workstation.

Problem:
When I begin to copy the files, I always run into certain files which cannot
be copied because they are either corrupt, or their permissions have not been
changed. When Windows hits a problem while copying files, it halts the
process, and the whole operation has to be restarted.

Need:
I need a way of copying files such that the copy process logs errors to a
file while continuing to copy the rest of the files without interruption.
