Hello,

How do i disable the message "This website is using your identity to access
a data source. If you trust this website, click OK to continue, otherwise
click Cancel.

This page appears when opening a data access page built in access 2003.
Thanks
Todd

Were you able to figure this out?

I'm getting the same thing, and it's annoying.
Everytime someone opens the data access page, they get two types of warnings
that they have to hit OK to.

have them add it as a trusted site; no?

It doesn't give them that option, all they get is a OK button, then another
popup about checking their identity or somethiogn like that.

I would like to find a way to disable it from my end, instead of asking each
employee to do something to their browser.

I even get these messages when I'm in access and try and open the data page
in design view, so I'm not sure if that will even fix it anyways.

have then go in internet explorer and add it as a trusted site

<TOOLS><INTERNET OPTIONS><SECURITY><TRUSTED SITES><SITES><ADD>

hope that helps good luck DAPs rock

That solution doesn't work for me

Hi

I have the same problem with a page that shows some charts and it uses office web components. The message "This website is using your identity to access a data source..." is displayed when I go to this chart page. I use the internet explorer 7 and I obviously have installed the owc11 and I followed your instructions and added this site as a trusted site and it still doesn't work. This message is very annoying because you have to click OK everytime!!. Help me please. Thank you.

Kind regards,

Agustín Conde

I had to configure the following items...
1. Add Local intranet sites
2. Customised Local intranet zone settings to allow "Access data sources across domains"
3. Customised Local intranet zone settings to allow "Automatic logon with current username and password'

To customise the local intrante zone setting, go to..
<tools><internet options><security><Local intranet>
Click on custom level

hope this helps
B/Rgds,
Sulli
