damn windows

everytime i go to defrag c drive it locks up. it also
happens when i run scan disc on c. it dosnt happen on the
secion partition though. anyone???

Disable any antivirus, TSRs, screensavers, etc. Then run a scandisk. I had a
similiar issue with a machine at work, the HD was going south.
