Damaged Windows XP Home Edition

I've had problems with my system continually asking to
seaarch for missing files needed to run the system. All
checks seemed to end up with not being able to use the
Setup CD. It was suggested that I clean the disk and try
again. I turned the CD over and noticed marks on the CD
that couldnt be removed.
How can I get a replacement CD. The system is about 3
years old. The CD was for an upgrade from me to XP.
I have the code necessary from the damaged disk.

Contact Microsoft directly. You should be able to get a
replacement for a nominal fee.
