When I look into

InternetOptions/General/BrowsingHistory-Settings/ViewObjects

I find that the Properties/dependecy of mot iconf shows in the upper box
'File Name' the word 'Damaged'

Why is this? What should I do? delete the icons? Could it be due to a
virus?

Thank you

Not likely a virus. Probably just a damaged OCX file. Delete it and it
should download again next time it is needed.

Right-click one and look at its properties. If anything you want,
right-click, click Update. If not wanted, just click Remove. They
should be reinstalled as needed.
