My disk drive won't open at all. I can shut down the computer, and then open it, but it won't open after that at all. I've tried ejecting it through My Computer as well, and that won't work, so it isn't the button on the CPU that isn't working. Does anyone know what's wrong? Thanks!

First, reset your BIOS by Loading the bios defaults. If that doesn't help, uninstall the drivers in device manager for the drive and reboot.

If it won't open with the button on the front of the drive, it is stuck and
no software will open it. Take the unit apart and remove the probably stuck
disk.

its not that the disk is stuck though. If I restart the computer the disk drive will open fine, but only once. If i try to open it again it won't open at all. I have to restart the computer again to open it again.

Ok, do what lee posted. I thought it would not open at all.
