Hi all,
I've got a network share which contains Czech special characters. Some
users, who have a multi language version of W2K pro installed, can open
the files on that share simply by double clicking them without confusing
the underlying application (Word, Acrobat etc). On the other hand there
are users using the German version of w2k pro, which get a file not
found message, although the file open commands are configured in the
same way as on the other machines. If they open the file directly in
the application, everything works fine, but double clicking causes the
error. We tried to add the Czech language setting in the language bar in
control panel, but this didn't help to fix the issue. To me, it looks
like a character set issue, but I have no clue how to solve it.
Any ideas, how we could fix this?
Regards,
Klaus
