cyrillic keyboard layout

I bought a Sony Vayo with XP System. I often have to type
in Russian, for which I use the mnemonic layout of my
keyboard, however the layout installed in my computer
only allows to type as on a Russian typewriter. I
unsiccessfully tried to download a mnemonic layout from a
website (Cyrillic.com)but apparently it is incompatible
with XP. Can anyone help?

Sure, you can get 'mnemonic' (phonetic) layout for XP from my site -
please see "Russian Keyboard" section there.
