Hi

CRC is an error detection method - meaning that those folders are corrupt.
Try deleting them from a command prompt. If that doesn't work, try deleting
them from Safe Mode.

I have alray tryed that. and it wont work. i am going nuts, i even tryed norton wipe tool and it still wont go away,

Hi

Try renaming the folders from a command prompt and then deleting them. Try
'Eraser':

http://www.heidi.ie/eraser/download.php

Failing that - and if you are using FAT32 - boot your PC with a Win ME/98
EBD and delete the folders from there. If you haven't got an EBD, you can
get the files from:

www.bootdisk.com

Hi

EBD = Emergency Boot Disk. It can be used to boot into 'DOS' if your system
is using FAT32 but not NTFS. You will be able to delete the folders from
there. You don't have to install Win ME/98 first.

Do you know where the folders came from and when they were created - i.e.
after a download or an Update?

What happens if you right-click the folders, hold down the Shift key and
then select Delete?

Try booting from the XP CD into safe mode / command prompt.

Then use the attrib command to remove any attributes from the folders

Then use the RD or remdir command to remove the folders.
