CWShredder help

I downloaded it. Opened it. Tried to update it, but I
keep getting an "Unable to retrieve update information".
Any suggestions.

I downloaded it again, but when I tried to update it prior
to running the fix I got the same message about being
unable to retrieve the update information. Then I tried
the merijn.org links but was unable to open them.
