cut paste not working 2003 Help Please

I just upgraded to office 2003 form office xp. When I open 2 seperate word
documents and select and copy text from one and try to paste it into the
other it fails. No error message is displayed. I tried the old contr c / v
and tried selecting from edit menu. I used to do this all day long in
word....

My office pro and win xp are both up to date.

Has anyone else run into this? Any suggestinos would be greatly appreciated.

Dear Susanne,

Thanks... weirdest thing... I read other post and did a complete virus scan
- Happy to say I was clean... I REBOOTED and now it works..... I can cut
paste normally within and between documents.

I'm happy once again... thanks. Marty
