Hi,

I recently created a macro using unassigned keys Ctrl+C,T in Word 2003

However... I must have done something wrong somewhere as now Ctrl+C does not
seem to "cut" text in Word. This seems to apply to Word only.

How can I restore my Ctrl+C cut function...?

Thx

Ctrl+C is NOT unassigned by default. Normally, it is assigned to EditCopy.

I'm not sure what you're doing... but Ctrl+X by default is assigned to
EditCut, and Ctrl+V to EditPaste.

If you assigned Ctrl+C,T to a macro, then you wipe out the default EditCopy
command. That's fine, if that's what you really want. But, it's not at all
clear what you're trying to do.

Andy:

Before Word 2007 you click Tools > Customize > Keyboard. Then you find the
EditCopy command by picking Edit in the Categories list, and scrolling
through the Commands list until you can pick EditCopy.

In the Press New Shortcut Key box, press Ctrl+C (just like you'd do it to
copy something) then click the Assign button.

If you click Reset All, all your keyboard customizations will be blown away.

By the way, you can use this dialog box to find out what's assigned to a
given shortcut. You just type the shortcut in the Press New Shortcut Key box,
and Word displays the Currently Assigned To command.
