Customizing Outlook Today in Outlook 2000

I appear to ahve lost the capability to customise Outlook
Today. I run Outlook 2000 on Win XP Pro and on Win 2K
Pro and neither seems to be capable of customizing.

Is this due to recent updates that I have loaded. any
help welcome
