Customizing a master - adding a logo

Work for univerisity and wish to add two small logo to all slides. I looked
at old threads and followed instructions but it did not work. This graphic
will be used as a footer. I am going to be given several PP to convert into
this when I get it done.
I am using Vista and PP 2007. In SLide master, I can put the logo in bottom
right hand corner, go out of it and it appears on that one slide, but not new
or exisiting. Also tried using place holders.
 
In PPT 2007, which slide master are you using? You shoould use the biggest
one (at the top)
