Customize Outlook Today

I am using Outlook 2000 and when I go to Outlook Today and click Customize Outlook Today there is no response (i.e., the menu allowing me to customize messages, calendar, and tasks does not appear). Any suggestions? Do I need to be using Exchange to have this enabled? Thanks for your help.

In the article linked to below, it mentions that this problem is in Outlook
2000, but doesn't mention 2003. Is there a similar problem in OL 2003 or has
it been fixed?
 
There was no issue with Outlook 2003 the same way there was with Outlook
2000, but other things can cause problems with Outlook Today in other
versions of Outlook. What problems with OT are you experiencing?

Hi Jocelyn,

Thanks for the answer. I use OL 2000 at work, and have been having the same
problem. I've been debating buying Office 2000 or 2003 for my home PC and was
curious about lingering bugs from 2000.
 
Oh, OK. Nope, that particular issue in Outlook 2000 was due to a critical
update being applied to another product, and it didn't affect any other
versions of Outlook.

Yeah, I found that article on my own and another one at outlook-tips.
Guess what? Neither one of them did the trick. My users "Customize
Outlook Today" button still does nothing....

Any other ideas anyone?
