"CUSTOMIZE OUTLOOK TODAY".... feature won't open.

Outlook 2000 Home page feature "Customize Outlook
Today..." won't open.Cannot customize home page view!
..Also have never had "Personal Folders" displayed on Home
page.
Any help resolving this issue would be appreciated,tnx Jim

This is due to a IE security patch that yoiu have installed. Check the KB
and it will tell you how to modufy the registry key from 0 to 1 so you can
use the link.

I wrote an mini-tutorial describing a work around at

if you do not wish to temporarily remove the security update or
if do not have administrator access to the PC.

It was written in response to the number of hits I was getting to a link I put up.
