Customize folders

I have one folder for all my pictures with a lot of sub-folders and for each one i customize in order to use the template (pictures "best for many files"). I use background pictures to put in folders, but after some time i lose all these configurations, and windows start to put automatically background pictures in other folders and change the template that i have chose to folder

Won't hurt to try "Folder Views - Keep Settings".

You will find that info at Kelly's link, below, under "F".
