Hello again to all my friends...

I need a little bit of help; I am using a customized theme, i basically took
the Blends theme and just added my own background image to it. it was rather
simple.

Now I need help customizing the link bar... in the Top border or top.htm

The president of the company would like the link for the Catalog to be more
bold or bigger or something to make it stand out more...

How would I go about doing that?

by the way the website is http://www.willitshoe.com

FP Nav bars can not be customized for individual links (only all links)

Why are you using *Excel* to design your web?!

I'm not using excel...

I used Excel on the Euro's Spring and Willits Spring Line sheets. I just
converted saved them as .htm;

What brings this up anyway??

I was looking at the Euro's page and was wondering why it was loading
slow/wierd so looked at the source and noticed it was produced by
Excel...Excel and Word produce some bloated code. You may want to check
those pages in other browsers as well.

Is there a better way?? To show exactly what I want to show, which is on the
website, but is there a better way of doing it??

Strange, I checked the website and it used FrontPageEditor6.0 (or some such - I don't have it open now) so maybe the OP has changed
it.
Is there a better way??
You are posting on a FrontPage NG, so do you have FrontPage ?
If not, learn HTML

Sorry, that is a very cavalier statement, but in fact writing good HTML will get you the least bloated code.

And there is help around. For specific queries, post here.

I use www.w3schools.com as as reference. Although some say it is not perfect, it will help a lot.

Yah!....just create your table for the products IN Frontpage...not with
Excel.
You can redo that page in no time...and you won't have all that vml junk
from Excel's html.

So can Word and Publisher, but for anything but the simple stuff, it's a
mess.

|
| Ah yes.
| I didn't go that far down.
|
| So Excel can generate HTML. (Never even thought to try it myself)
|
| A good idea, not (as the current jargon goes)

Wow do you really think I'm that stupid?? I realize this discussion is in
FrontPage. Yes I have FrontPage 2003.

That's not a cavalier statement. If you don't have anything USEFUL to add;
DON'T ADD ANYTHING AT ALL. That is a cavalier statement.

You didn't even know what we were talking about until Rob pointed you to the
right page.

oh, and refrain from using WordArt, Autoshapes...basically anything on the
Draw toolbar. (your Euro's graphic banner image for instance). Basically
they are VML, browsers other than IE may display nothing or a downlevel gif
image. Take a PrtScrn of them and paste into your favorite image editor and
save them as a gif or jpg, then Import the image into FP for inclusion into
your layout.

Ok awesome, I am doing that now. The Euro's Logo, that is already a Gif
image. the spledido and the other thing isn't. I believe that to be a
different font size and type.

One more hint...don't use FP to edit/resize/resample any images, use a third
party image editor. FP does not to a good job in this respect.

Well, I thought it might offend and it did. So I apologised in advance.

You did not choose to accept the apology. Well, that is your problem, not mine.
