Hello:

We have made a dozen word templates with a individual custom toolbars linked
to styles (and outline numbering). The only way we can get these custom
toolbar to display on documents based on the templates is if the .dot is
saved into the Templates folder. However, we want to add them to subfolder
in Templates (just to keep them all in one place and not mix them with all
out other .dot's) and if we do this, the toolbars won't display on different
PCs.

I would appreciate any help or info you can give me.

Your legacy documents will always have this problem if you move the attached
template.

I would advise copying your template to the folder you want it in, leaving
the original in the templates folder. Then delete the content of the
template in the templates folder and put a message in it to use the template
under the "Our Templates" tab.

Otherwise, you can open individual documents and change their attachment
under Tools > Templates and AddIns... to the template in the correct
location.

For more on the different kinds of templates and locations of templates
folders see http://addbalance.com/usersguide/templates.htm.
