Custom Task Panes in PowerPoint

Hi Everyone,

I should create a custom toolbar for MS PowerPoint (if possible in C#) for
my Company. With this task pane, the user should be able to search for
images on the WebService of amazon.com, to return images. These images
could be inserted into the presentation.

Does anyone know, if my plans are possible in PowerPoint or not? Are there any
professionals or ressources on this topic?
