hi.

i plan to use winpe for the setup process of our gaming terminals.
therefore, i run winpe on a harddisk with my own tool for formatting
and file copy.
now, i want to add the drivers for the touchscreen and our own io
controller.
the io controller driver is wdm (.inf and .sys file), the touchscreen
driver has its own installation program.
is there a way to add these drivers to winpe or do i have to make a
special xpe image?
please help me

Berni,

My first response would be - make your own XPe image and include the
hardware&software support you need. It may be way too easier than *fixing*
WinPE.

Initially I thought WinPE is not extendable environment. Meaning that you
cannot easy add new applications, PnP drivers could be a bit easier - just
copy to appropriate directories.

However, I recall someone mentioned that you can license WinPE from MS and
make your own changes.
