Some time ago, I created a new menu to which I added some document templates I had created...I cannot BEGIN to recall how I did that! Can anyone remind me? Thanks for any help. Karen

You need to write or record macros creating a new document based on the
template. Then assign those macros to a custom toolbar menu.

Hi Graham -

Am I missing something? Adding templates to the Work menu appears to open
the template, not create a new document.

The other option of placing your templates so they can be found by File >
New works for some users, but it isn't really the same as supplying a custom
menu of document types. At any rate, users I've done this for seem to find
it surprisingly exciting and helpful ;-)

No you are not missing anything :) I use the work menu to provide easy
access to templates for editing and for regularly used documents. As for the
menu of templates - each to his own :)
