Can starting slide be changed dynamically during presentation from 1st to any
other number. For example after running for the first time when the loop
continues I want to start it from 3rd slide rather than first slide.

One solution would be to add a hyperlinked element on the final slide that
uses an ACTION SETTING to go to SLIDE 3. Action settings need to be clicked
(or mouse over), so they require user input.

Just to be sure I understand what you are asking. You want:

First loop thru: slide 1 thru last slide to show
then
on each subsequent loop: slide 3 thru last slide to show

This is easier than it appears. Just set your presentation to loop until
escape, make slides 1 and 2 hidden slides, and manually start the show from
slide 1. On each of the loop backs, PowerPoint will see that slides 1 and 2
are hidden and skip to slide 3.

Post back if you need help making any of these things happen.

Hi,
Thanks for your response. But I have still problem in my application. I
explain the problem deeply now. I want to distribute the presentation on cd
so I could not interact with the presentation at the run time.
I have total 37 slides and I want to run slides from 1 - 20 in a loog. I
made a custom show and add it to presentation through "set up show" option in
the slide show menu. Now if I hide the 1st and 2nd slides these do not show
on first run too. Please reply me what I have to do to solve this situation.

Kind Regards,
Mark.
