I'm using Windows XP Professional. When I'm typing, suddenly my curser jumps
to another part of the page which has a similar number or letter. It
continues typing in the new spot, and sometimes wipes out what I previously
typed there. Please help!

What program is this happening in, when you (the curser) see the cursor
move?

Hi Songbird,

If you are using a laptop with a touchpad, turn off tapping.

The cursor problem mainly happens when I'm on the internet, doing my
sweepstaking. It's also happening right now. By the way, what's "RTFM"?

"RTFM" = Read The F%^king Manual.

Well, the usual advice when wierd things start happening is to run the
spyware/malware checkers
Ad-Aware http://www.lavasoft.de/
Spybot Search and Destroy
http://www.safer-networking.org/en/home/index.html
(and some others that are also well recommended)
and update your antiVirus and run a full scan.

The polite version of RTFM is "Read the Full Manual"
