Within a text field in Access, can you shortcut the current date and time???
Similar to <CTRL><;> in Excel for the Current Date.

Thanks in advance for your review and help.

Also in a date field you can just enter either the day and month with
a space between them and Access/Windows will insert the year. Or if
you enter a 4 digit year and a month it will insert the 1 for the 1st
day of the month.

A few developers and testers in the Access product group within
Microsoft were amazed when I told them that trick. One guy, who'd
been around for a while said "Ahhh, it's using OLEAUT32 DLL etc,
etc.". This was all in the context of determining the field type for
new columns when in A2007 table view.
