About half a year ago my company changed from exchange 5.5 to 2003 server.
The new exchange server had a new name as well. Everything has been working
until now when the old server has finally been removed. Then my sync program
that I use to sync my sonyericsson T68i is no longer working. Sync is
working about halfway into the process when outllok suddenly decides to look
for the OLD server. I get the "requesting data from microsoft exchange
server"-dialogue box and when I cancel it the sync fails.
Outlook works flawlessly apart from this. I can read/send mail, use the
calendar, tasks etc. No problems whatsoever. It's only when I try to sync
that outllok for some reason tries to contact the old server.
I've tried to search the registry on my pc and found a few entries referring
to the old server that I changed to the new server. I also did a
fulltext-search on my local and network drives and found references to the
old server in a file called mapisvc.inf which I also changed.
Any ideas?
