Cumulative Total in a Query - Access 2003

Hello,

How can I keep a cumulative total in a query?

I know that this is much easier done in Excel or in the
Access reports but I NEED to know how do it in a query.

Your help is greatly appreciated.

Do you have some sample data (with table and field names) and what you
expect your cumulative total to look like? Can you use a report for this or
does it have to be a query?
