I keep on getting e-mails for the following...

Microsoft User

this is the latest version of security update,
the "September 2003, Cumulative Patch" update which
eliminates all known security vulnerabilities affecting
MS Internet Explorer, MS Outlook and MS Outlook Express
as well as three newly discovered vulnerabilities.
Install now to help protect your computer from these
vulnerabilities. This update includes the functionality
of all previously released patches.

I have run Windows up-date and I'm UP TO DATE!

My outlook prevents me from opening up the attachments
sent with the e-mails. I am getting about 20 e-mails a
day just for this update. I don't understand why and I
can't run the attached file and like I said, I'm up to
date.

Still not telling the bloke how to get rid of the spm though eh?
infuriatingly yahoo's block sender allows you to write e.g.
(e-mail address removed) as a blocked, why not just write microsoft.net and
block ANY sender?
Reason because you could quite easily elimainate tons of sapam by just
being able to filter out all e-maill addresses with partial names e.g.
microsft.net. But then....and here's the crunch.......you wouldn't
need to upgrade in order to be able to add more blocks!!!

Crazy..there IS a solution to spam, but your free e-mail providers
won't play ball because you wouldn't upgrade...so let the whole damn
net grind to a halt!
