Hello, I have a kind of a rook question for you.? Somehow
or another the ctrl alt delete keys command got changed.
Now instead of rebooting windows, they will bring up
system monitor!!! I don't know what happened or how to
get it back to make them reboot. Can someone please let
me know how to fix this??? Thanks for your help.. And oh
yeah they won't even bring up the task manager anymore
either!!

After hitting Ctrl-Alt-Del can you select the Applications Tab?
You probably just closed it with the System Monitor up.

Also, you can select the shutdown menu to perform various booting tasks.

Hope this helps

It never did reboot Windows (not in Windows XP. It brings up the
task manager.

You apparently have the Task Manager showing, but you have the
performance tab selected. You also have the menus and tabs turned
off. To turn them back on, double-click on a border of the
window.

These keys are working correctly! In Windows NT, 2000 and XP, they never
forced the reboot and always brought up taskmanager.

Windows XP changed the response to the ctrl-alt-del key combination. Your
system is working properly. If you press ctrl-alt-del a second time after
System Monitor comes up, Windows XP will shut down just like Windows 98.

C A D in XP never has rebooted directly - it always brings up the Task
Manager. If you want you can then use its Shutdown menu. If you do
not see the menu bar, double click in the broad frame to toggle out of
the 'compact' view of it.
