How do I change the Ctrl+Alt+ Del from only pulling up
the task manager to pulling up the options like to lock
the screen?

If I understand what you are trying to accomplish, You
are trying to lock the computer by simply pressing the
Ctrl+Alt+Del buttons as one simple action, and not have
an additional step of clicking on the "Lock the Computer"
button. If so, a simpler solution would be to press the
WIN key and the 'L' key (Win + L) simultanously.

Turn the welcome screen off.

How will that prevent task manager from appearing?

Hi,

It doesn't, but what it does do is just what the user asked: It allows C-A-D
to pull up all the options, Task Manager is just one of them.

So if the welcome screen is turned off, Ctl-Alt-Del will pull up the old W2K
style options?

Yup.

Hi Rifleman,

(Or) have Welcome Screen enabled and disable Fast User switching alone:

See: Lock XP with Fast User Switching Enabled

Hi Rifleman,

Disable Fast User switching to get the security dialog window (with Lock
Workstation and other options).

I find it helpfull to try something before arguing about it.

Who's arguing? I asked a perfectly valid question.
